Fantasy/Adventure -- Everworld

Fantasy and mythology -- a perfect combination for some gifted children.  That's what this series is all about.
Publisher Recommended Reading Level: Young Adult

Everworld is written by Katherine A. Applegate, author of the popular series,"The Animorphs."

Summary: Everworld is an alternate universe, in which 5 teenagers find themselves.  Young gifted children (and gifted teens) who love mythology will find Everworld an interesting place; it was created by the mythical Norse, Greek, Aztec (etc.) gods long, long ago.  But the order of this alternate universe is being threatened.

The heroic teens must battle trolls, entertain Vikings, become allies of Merlin,  save the life of Sir Galahad, and learn from alien races like the Coo-Hatch -- all in the first three books!

The series is full of not just mythical gods, but mythical creatures, like dragons and elves, as well.
