Science - Chemistry

Is your child curious about the composition of things or how one thing turns into another?.  For example, does your gifted child ask you how water turns to ice?  Or what makes a cake rise in the oven?  If so, your child will love these chemistry books.

Parenting Tip: You don't need to start out buying your child expensive chemistry sets and you don't have to wait until your child is older to let them have fun experimenting with chemistry.  You can have fun with simple and inexpensive household products.

Experiment: Take some sour salt (you can buy this at the grocery store) and mix it with some water and a little baking soda.  Not only does it fizz and foam, it creates carbonation too!  You can also put a little sour salt and baking soda in juice and create juice "pop."  You can get a healthier grape or orange pop that way!
