Science Books for Gifted Kids
Paleontogy is a favorite topic of gifted kids because they love dinosaurs, but they also love learning about earth, its history, and the animals that appeared throughout history.
Many children love the beauty and intelligence of dolphins and others are fascinated by birds. It doesn't matter whether the creatures can be found on the land, under the ground, in the air, or in the sea, gifted kids can find them a focus of interest.
Many gifted kids have a love of the earth that leads them to an interest in the environment and ecology. All these topics are covered in Gifts for Learning books.
Almost as popular as the study of dinosaurs for gifted children is the study of forensics or crime solving. That it an area of studying made for gifted kids since it's like working a puzzle and gifted kids love to solve puzzles! |

Science helps explain the self, the world, and the universe, so it's no surprise that many, many gifted kids love science and that love often begins at a very early age. 
Everything on earth can be interesting to gifted kids. Some kids love learning about flowers and plants, trees and forests. Others love to learn about the creatures that live among the trees, plants, and flowers, including the many bugs and insects. 
Kids can be just as interested in what's inside the earth as they are in what's on it. They love learning that the earth is not solid, but is more like a chocolate covered cherry, with a hard core surrounded by liquid and covered with a solid surface. The are fascinated by moving tectonic plates the the workings of volcanoes. 
But gifted kids don't focus their interests on the earth itself. They can form obsessive interests in what lies beyond the earth. They love to learn about space and space travel, about our solar system, our galaxies and the galaxies far beyond ours. They love the planets, quasars, blackholes and everything else in outer space. 
There are so many more aspects of science: electricity, magnetism, physics, and chemistry. And then there is the study of weather, rocks, fossils, and biology.
