Brick ConstructionBrick Construction Set
Each tiny brick in this high-quality original European set is crafted with remarkable precision-no wonder kids love building (& rebuilding) realistic-looking miniatures with them. In addition to the satisfaction of creating something with their hands, kids practice following directions using one of five design plans; or they can exercise their architectural leanings with a brick dwelling of their own design. Comes with safe, nontoxic dry mortar that mixes with water and then dissolves to reuse bricks. 550+ bricks, plastic windows and doors, 2 heavy wooden baseboards, mixing bowl, metal trowel.

Marble RunMarble Run
Just stack and click colorful chutes, tubes, dropping-throughs and spinners to build amazing rides for marbles. More than 100 sturdy plastic pieces in both solid colors and clear plastic let kids follow the twisting, turning paths they create. Super-strong plastic storage case, 20 marbles. 20- piece add-on set lets you build even more complex circuits.

Skyrail Marble RunSkyrail Suspension Marble Run
Our huge marble run is over 5 feet wide and 3 feet tall, with adjustable suspension cables to easily raise or lower the tracks. Kids have to reason and experiment to construct a system that safely delivers the marbles to the bottom; after that, the challenge lies in building speed to the eye-boggling max! 300 pieces, including 12 marbles and 40 feet of glow-in- the-dark track.

Tall Stacker Pegs Building Set
These easy-grip pieces have simple peg-and-hole connections, with tips that easily nest inside each other and hold the soft horizontal pieces secure. You'll love that it builds a young one's hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and color recognition; they'll love that it's so fun to build. Includes 100 2.5"-tall pegs, base mat and 17 tower mats. Made in the USA.
Superstructs Super Set
The basic building elements couldn’t be simpler: multi-hole hubs and colorful sticks in different lengths. But that’s the beauty of these timeless sets: Out of simple angles and straight lines come imaginative structures. The Super Set tub holds hundreds of pieces including panels and joints.

Parenting Tip: If your gifted child collects Legos, don't worry too much about keeping all the pieces from different sets separate.  Mixing them all up allows children to exercise their creativity, mixing and matching pieces from various sets to create some unique constructions.  Some general sets come in a large tub, but even if your child has smaller, separate sets, you can keep them all together in a large tub.  Plastic storage bins are perfect for storing Legos pieces.

Although your child should feel free to mix up all the pieces, it's a good idea to keep the instructions for the various sets together in one place.  Your child may want to recreate the original items and will need the directions.  We kept ours in a folder on a bookshelf.

Kids can never have enough legos!  Basic tubs and buckets are great for creative play, but sometimes a kit contains special pieces not found in the basic sets.  Once kids have put the kit together, they can take them apart and add the pieces to the basic pieces.  It's amazing what they can construct!  (Be sure to keep the instructions!)
