From Magic Cabin
Classic Cloaks
Transform yourself into your favorite fairy-tale character in our gorgeous, cotton velour Classic Cloaks. The traditional design has an ample hood and full, straight cape that falls between the knee and ankle (depending upon your height).

The hoods and front panels are lined with a complementary cotton print in your choice of Celestial (blue velour lined with a mosaic of stars and moons), Floral (fuchsia velour lined with pretty flowers), Woodland (forest green velour lined with a woodland motif), or Little Red Riding Hood (red velour lined with a red woodland motif).

Royal Cloaks
King, queen, prince or princess - your children can rule their world in our elegant, cotton velour Royal Cloaks. Cut with a full hood, broad mantle and sweeping trail that little "ladies in waiting" can carry about. It is available in four color choices, all with creamy white trim.

Tied at the neck with satin ribbons, they are sized to fit most children ages 3 to 10. Made in the USA of 80% cotton/20% poly.

Silk CrownsSilk Child Crowns - Magic Cabin Hot Product
You can be "Queen for a Day" or "King for a Day" in our elegant Silk Crowns! Made from shimmering doupioni silk lined with cotton, they add a regal element to celebrations or play. Available in your choice of Gold, in golden silk with celestial liner; or Rose, in lavender-rose silk lined with hearts. Adjustable Velcro® closure fits most children ages 3 to 12.
Robin HoodRobin Hood icon
As befits your little king of the forest, this 100% silk Robin Hood Cape has a green "chain-mail" tunic with a royal blue attached cape and a ribbon belt perfect for strapping your sword sheath or a quiver of arrows onto. Made in the USA, it will fit most gallant adventurers ages 4 to 12.

And just like the merry men's, our classic Bow & Arrows Set helps develop youngsters' marksmanship, coordination, concentration, and strength. The wooden bow has a strong poly string, and the three wooden arrows have soft rubber suction cup tips.

Silk WingsSilk Wings icon
Become a graceful butterfly or a soaring bird in our gorgeous Silk Wings! One little butterfly boy whom we know refused to take his wings off for bed, saying that he was going to make a cocoon in his sleep! Made from light and airy China silk, hand-dyed in two color combinations. The broad satin ties make it easy for children to put the wings on all by themselves (younger children may require assistance).
MermaidMermaid Costume icon
Exquisite watercolor "fish-scale" silk, sculpted into a free-flowing skirt tail, makes this unique and comfy costume swim to life. With the matching silk and "seaweed" hair garland and silk chemise halter-top, your little girl will be transformed into her heart's desire - a beautiful silken mermaid! Available in two sizes, both with elastic waists and easy tie tops.

Parenting Tip: Keep a "pretend" box in your gifted child's room or playroom.  This box can contain costumes and costuming accessories, but it can also include other "dress up" items that you can find around the house or in second-hand clothing stores.  Ties, shirts, shoes, hats, skirts, dresses, any number of old clothing items can be used by children in pretend play.  If you're a handy seamstress or tailor, you can cut the clothing down just a bit (so the children don't trip!)  You can also buy some plain fabric that kids can use (let them figure out how!)

Consider, too, including items like feathers, bells and string in the box that the kids can use. (Be careful of what you include for very small children.  You don't want them to choke.)  Joann.com has quite a few craft items of this type you can use.  Keeping all the pretend items in one box in one place makes it easy for kids to get easy access to them.  A large wicker laundry basket works very well for this.

Some kids just love to dress up and while they can be quite happy using old pieces of clothing and other items to create costumes, a special costume or crown can make their pretend play that much more special.  The point is that they don't need lots and lots of costumes and props.  Items you have in the house can be used, but it doesn't hurt to mix them up with some special props.
