Parents of gifted children often feel isoloated because other parents don't understand the problems involved in parenting gifted children.

Tip: One of the things you definitely want to do is hook up with your state's gifted organization.  Not all states have one, but most of them do.  If your state does not have an organization, you have a couple of options.  One is to start one, which might be a little daunting for a "beginner."  Another option is to join a national organization.  You won't get the same kind of support, but you'll learn a lot and won't feel alone.
